Water way problems

Hi All

I am currently draining the coolant from my Stag, but have encountered a
problem, this being that on MK1's we have two drain taps on the engine
block, I have managed to undo both of these, water is coming out of the
right hand drain tap but not the left, i've tried poking around with some
wire but still no joy. Regardless of this the engine runs fine and doesn't
over heat.

Any idea's ??
