Hi
I think that original hoods had a rather thin window material, and later 
hoods have really thick stuff. It lasts longer, but getting it over the back 
of the rear seat in the folded in half position which it takes up is not so 
easy.
I am going to try unzipping the window and rolling it up and containing it 
with straps.
It will take longer than the current two minutes to get the hood down.
It might go down sweeter tho'.
