Quick fuel question

Yep, I know this must have been discussed before, but I had a quick look
at a few Stag sites and couldn't see a definite answer, so...

Showing my total ignorance here, what's the official line on Stags and
unleaded fuel in the UK, given that leaded is about to be phased out?
Stags may run on unleaded anyway for all I know, being new to this Stag
lark -  it's not something I've seen mentioned one way or the other
anywhere. (not sure what year unleaded fuel appeared in the UK anyway) 

Assuming they didn't though as standard, does work need to be done on
the valve seats before unleaded will work without problems or are the
engines OK??
