The dizzy vac hose connects to the underside of the LH carb (on a Brit/Aus
car). You'll find a little tube inder there - it's a bit of a job to fit if
the carb is on

thanks, Martin; I thought that was a overflow if you had a stuck float 
needle; gas was pouring out of that on mine when I first turned on the pump.  
I've since replaced the needles.  I'll connect it to the distributor.
