park lights,etc

Saw the recent post on park lamps which explained alot, as I am 
troubleshooting my wiring.  Unfortunately I seem to have deleted it, so I 
apologize for repeating it here; hope I got it right.  
As I understood from the recent post:
1. in the Park position with the ignition OFF, only one light front and rear 
should be on (drivers side).  On mine I also have the pax side taillight.  I 
thought I had a problem with the pax side front parking light not being on, 
but evidently not.
2.  In the park position with the ignition ON, all of the side marker lamps 
should be on plus F and R park lamps drivers and pax side plus the instrument 
lamps?  On mine I also have the rear license plate illumination lamps, but I 
do not have either the L or R front side marker lamps.  Should they be on?  
3.  I sure wouldn;t have thought that the taillamps would be on only on one 
side, so I must ask a question that I thought I knew the answer to:
Are the front side marker lamps supposed to flash with the turn signals?  My 
left one does, but not the right.  Which one is wrong?  A friend of mine had 
a '66 Olds 98 that did this.  Of course the fenders were so large that these 
lamps actually illuminated the side of the road alittle bit so you could see 
what you were turning into.

This list has really been a big help in putting my car back together; thanks
