Thanks very much for your reply.
Why would rear clutch slip immediately after rebuild, i.e. within 100 miles.
Also wouldn't that cause the fluid to be burnt which it is not.
You may be right about the torque converter because that was changed, and it
may be a bad one since it was recon. 
How are torque converters reconditioned, and is failure to fix a problem
likely in the reconditioning process?
