According to Dave Jell's book the last
MK1 was Comm.number LD 14158.
It was built on 10th November 1972.
He calls it the "Last second-sanction car"
The first "third-sanction" (MK11) Stag was
Comm.number LD 20001.
It was built on 17th October 1972, i.e. BEFORE
the last MK1. Dave explains that build sanctions
occasionally overlapped.
