Hi all
Yep my Hardtop is on its back on the floor leaning against the back garage
wall, with a flannellette sheet over the roof to protect the paint fromt he
block wall. The bottom is sitting on a big strip of sponge.
Mine hasn't been on in four years. I use my cay every day, so the hood has
seen four winters speding most of the day in the company car park. The hood,
which is mohair has been on eight years and still looks like new. In fact I
have nothing but praise for that hood.
Now I have just replaced the front hood stick, and front side members. The old
one was welded in the solid corner and I haad been intending to replace it for
years. Now I have the new one on the hood goes down properly, and looks as if
it might even be sealing at the front edge so it won't drop an eggcup of water
in my lap when I drive in rain on the motorway.
Now the hood goes down properly I might put the hardtop on this winter.
