Rear Engine Mounts

Hi David

The nearside and offside body stud setups should be identical.  There
should be a spacer through the middle, then upper and lower bushings and a
large washer behind the nut.  The holes in the cross-member in my car are
identical offside and nearside, and while big enough to let the nut pass
through, not big enough to let the washer through also.  Perhaps it has
been running for some time with the crossmember resting on the washer so it
has worn a bigger hole through the crossmember?  Sounds a bit fanciful, I
expect the last person to put it back together forgot the large washer.
