Chris,

First of all I recommend you join a club (SOC or TSR) if you
havn't already.

I don't know where abouts in the country you are but I'm sure the SOC or
TSR would have some adverts in the magazines.

From memory E.J.Ward, Faversham Classics and Heathrow Stag Centre(?)
have cars for sale and do restoration/servicing. I don't have their
numbers to hand unfortunately.

Otherwise the club magazine private ads have a large selection of cars
for sale every month but obviously buyer beware.

I would recommend in either case that you take someone with you who
knows where to look if you are not familiar with Stag `bodges'!

It depends how much you want to spend as to how good a Stag you can get.
For 3000 you can probably get a car with an MOT but need lots of work.
For 5000 you can get a decent car needing some work. For 7000-10000 you
can get a low mileage original or a well restored car needing minor
work.

Good luck,

Dave.
