If you look up the Website for Lumenition
(www.denaploy.co.uk/autocar/faq.html) it discusses the problems of using
electronic ignition with pre-1974 rev counters. Although this is not
directly relevant to your problem it gives the address of a company in
London (Speedy Cables Ltd) who can adjust rev counters etc. It might be
worth contacting them to see if they can help.
