For those of you who have not received your snail-mail yet, Rimmers are
doing a stock clearance due to the huge volume of Stag parts bought from
Barretts recently and are sending out details to those who have a 'customer
number' with them.

They have posted an extremely attractive A5 colour catalogue of special
offers including the following as examples;

head rebuild kit including cams, valves, springs, studs, bolts, guides,
buckets at 150 (was 175)
8 new con-rods 65 (was 144.88)
Service kit both filters, spark plugs, points, condenser, fan belts 40 (was
47)
Reinforced water hose kit 27.50 (was 32.64)
manual gearbox kit including all ball/needle bearings, seals, synchro rings
99 (was 125)
front hub, bearings, stub axles kit 65 (was 79.95)

Above prices are in pounds sterling but do not include VAT, sales taxes,
carriage etc.

You must mention 'Special Deals Brochure' when ordering.

Another interesting snippet is that they now also have stock of new diff
crown-wheels and pinions, and rebuilt diffs using these.  I have no views
whatsoever on their quality.

They will be at Gaydon on 31 May for the 75th anniversary meeting.
