Service Provider

Hi All
AOL is driving me around the twist but they are the best so far.
Problems..........They are frequently busy, their technical support is very
narrow, and they can't tell me why I can't get sound off the internet
(Something about"You need a new player" keeps appearing, but I assume thats
part of AOL's CD?), and the browser is very slow taking me minutes to get
sites opened (I have 28K bps modem)
I have tried a number of others but not really found a good one.

My comments

Lineone ...............Too slow to get on
MSN....................Couldn't sign on. Help desk 45 mins to answer and
charged me full rate. 
Netcom...............Too slow to get on
Virgin....................As netcom
BT.........................Tech support claimed but not there in practice.
Couldn't sign on because I don't have 5
initials!!!
Compuserve...........Very slow.......gave up after 9 mins still only halfway
signed on. Loads of hourglass

Is anyone really satisfied with their service provider (in UK), and who is it?
