This NOT real. 

The virus here is the mail itself. The line that reads, 
"Forward this mail to as many people as you can..." is the 
giveaway. The virus author gets innocent victims to propogate 
his "virus" by sending it to their mail lists. 

It is not possible to catch a computer virus from an e-mail. 

Viruses are routinely sent in email attachments, but one can 
only catch the virus by opening the mail, saving the attachment 
and executing/using the attached file. 

Repeat: it is NOT possible to catch a virus from receiving or 
reading an email.
