Yes, they did offer tilt columns in the pickups in the 70s.  I believe it
was 72 and later, but do not quote me on that.  We had one of those in
Oregon a couple of months ago (one-owner truck, low-mileage, creampuff),
which John Glancy purchased and took home.  I know of another one in a
yard that a friend is hoping to get in the next month or so.  To be sure
about the years they were offered, I would call John.
