Kevin and Russ,
Check out John Stricker's How-to-do-it, in the Binder Bulletin FAQ for
information on how to do this right with a rotary compressor. Makes so
much sense that you'll be hard pressed not to do it that way. Also in
the same section is information on how to otherwise maximize your air
conditioning efficiency, by another contributor, whose name escapes me
right now.
