axle wrap up in 4x4

REGARDING:
Without unlocking the hubs, you can
drive in a straight line for a hundred feet or so, particularly with one
side off on the berm where the wheels can creep a bit to relieve the
wrap-up.  Stabbing the throttle to try to slip the wheels on the berm
also helps balance the loads.

Howard you forgot to mention that if the person has a full time locker then
this will
not relieve the wrap up as easy since the tire on the road keeps it bound.
However the rest of the explanation is very concise and accurate.
