T-19 into a Scout 800 update

Well the war is at a standoff. After taking the original clutch and
pressure plate off andf seeing original IH part numbers I though i was on
my way to a runner again.

Well low and behold the T-19 has a longer input shaft than the Scouty 800
input shaft. So does a t-18 shaft fit a T-19 since they are almost
identical except for the syncro first gear.

HELP: Paging Landry, Sutherland, or anyone who has a book of knowledge on
Transmissions that included the T-18 or T-19(exploded view of a T-18 and
T-19). Will the input shafts interchange?? Please look this up and e-mail
me asap. My poor 800 in trannieless and needs a transplant.

For thoes of you wondering why I want a T-19 its that I have one left over
from a Deal gone BAD that came out of a pickup truck and figured I would
try this first before searching for or rebuilding my current T-18. The
trannie grinds and pops out of second. Could this be from the worn out
clutch?? If it is then I have a backup plan if the 19 will not fit.

Thanks for the help all
