Not if you don't anchor the hook to the receiver as well.  I don't think
there's any to get an 8,000# (or whatever) winch to actually pull more
than 8,000# although the double line does double the pull on the vehicle.

I'd suggest the dual receivers which would remove most of the twisting
action on the receiver, even with a side pull, although with a fairly
long receiver mount, it would seem you should be able to pull to the side
quite a bit before bending the insert.
