New vehicle for Terry
Terry,
In giving some thought to the kind of vehicle selection that you may
be carrying out, I kind of decided that if I had about the same
parameters as you describe, that I'd probably go with a Toyota PU. In
their favor they have the narrower width similar to your CJ, they are
very durable, and they seem to have almost limitless modifications
available. Last year, I saw a Toyota climbing a recently washed out
Goler Wash in the Panamint Mountains and it was remarkably well
equipped for the job. Bill T. had just been in that area with his very
modified Scout, and he could have pulled off that ascent, but the fact
that this Toyota was doing it alone, and doing it well really
impressed me. That Toyota had lots of lift, but the modifications
otherwise did little to change its very attractive appearance.

So, whatcall think? No guarantees, I've got to peddle the CJ first.
Input would be much appreciated, and interesting!
Thanks
BTW - anybody want a built CJ5? Scout D300 if that helps
