Tom, Dan,
Did you guys get that? "someone her age".  And then Willy says,
"perhaps the worst makeout rig ever". Willy is what is known as a
"DAD". I say again, WAY TO GO, WILLY.

"Worst make out rig ever" reminds me of the time when I was courting
my wife, who by some accounts was just recently out of her cradle. I
had a '40 Ford coupe that had holes in the floorboards, so that when
we went through puddles, she had to pull both legs up over her head
(practically) in order to avoid getting sprayed with puddle water. I
loved that old car and never should have traded it for one with intact
floor boards. 

One last note on perspective: Things were different then and a good
look at pink panties didn't happen all that easily. (grin)

But for your information, my daughter used your proposal to leverage a
date
for the Sweetheart dance on Valentines day (with someone her age).
I may let them drive the Scout... no, I will *make* them drive the
Scout...
