Friday night I got the oil pump/pickup and pan up and into the 304 and cleaned a lot of the sludge off.
Sat. I got the 345 out and started canabalizing it. I had to quit early (5:00) due to social issues of the sweet and cute kind.;)
Sun. I finished dressing the 304 with all the fixin's and hung it from the jack. I dropped the 727/signle speed tc out. Botled the T19 to the 304 and hoisted it in.
Well, at about 7:00PM last night, my numb fingers managed to pull the trigger on the impact one more time to secure the T19 to the crossmember. The 304/T19 went in as a unit, fell nicely into place. I have yet to put the D300 up and the radiator, core support, hood, heater hoses,........ At least I got the big part of the job completed. I still need to acquire the clutch linkage, my trip to the junkyard Friday was fruitless.:( I also have to pull the dash to get the pedals hung, but I'm getting good at that.
I hope to be firing it up by Wednesday night.
I'll keep ya posted.
