     Simple way to disable the sensor is to turn (rotate axially) it 180
degrees upside down.
Now that flap can't possibly trigger the sensor, since in its rotated
position, gravity holds it down into the untriggered position.

     This is great also if you autocross, live in climates with long dry
seasons, or otherwise want to remove the water weight you carry in that
bottle.
