Try coating the lettering with clear nail polish, a thin coat will last
forever in normal use.

The Vredestein Snow+ was one of the premier snow tires through the
eighties, the Vredestein Sprint was a nice sticky regular street tire.
Vredestein also makes some of the best bicycle racing tires in the
world.
