Subject: E28 - Heater not toasty warm
The heater on my 88 M5 is not working right. When at idle or slow speed
it is reasonably warm, but as soon as I hit freeway speed, it seems like
it blowing cold air. Is there an air mix flap or something that could
be stuck open? Or should I be looking at heater valve heater or core
problems? Any help would be much appreciated as its getting kinda cold
here in Portand.

88 M5<<<<<<<
A bad valve is usually all hot or all cold. Rebuuild kit is $25 and a one
beer job. There is a flap beside the glove box that someone described in a
recent post; I 've never been in there.
