>bject: How Marks BS Works
Mark,
All we hear is Dyno, Dyno, Dyno!!!
Do you realize that you are replicating , (for the fourth time)
real world conditions. Your fan only works on a DYNO and
ONLY a dyno!!! Hell time and time again people use some
sort of box fan to "help" air flow, for the static car cannot
and does not equal a moving vehicle at 60 mph.
As you said, feel the power stick your head out the window
at 60 mph. Test this unbelievable effect.
Gee that really blows hard, just like your fan but not as hard
as you do.
How you could be such a moron not to take this into effect?
Pretty much sums it all up.
Market your POS device as a more accurate dyno reading
device and that is as good as it gets. Or add 3.5% to your
(everybody) dyno chart to take in to account lack of air flow.

P.S. Show some (any) timed runs or shut up!<

THIS WAS THE MOST UNEDUCATED RESPONSE YET. hold your head out the windo=
w
and see how it blows, what???????
JIM , please help me with this one. =
Ill tell you again, I measured the vaccume at 100 mph and 6000 rpm and it=
was .5 psi, when I turned on the fan and did it agian.it went to .25
pressure. do you get it?????? How soft are you, at 60mph, hold a book ou=
t
the window, how much force to hold it agains the wind?????? about 15 lb=
s
or so, divide that by (11x9) that gives you the total psi potential bes=
t
case. Its nothing, now get a funnel and hold it out in the wind, what
happens ???? does theair speed up or slow down?????? what happens to the
pressure????
Do you even know??
why do you use naca ducts to cool brakes thru the long tubes?????? what i=
s
the purpose of the funnel?? (air speed, pressure ??)
if there was any ram air at all , when I got the car to 120 mph with the
guage connected, WOULDNT IT HAVE REGESTERED A LITTLE PRESSURE? OR AT LEAS=
T
RELIEVED THE VACUUM????????? Well it didnt, so the educated person would=
say, Hey, we have a little air flow problem , how do we get more air in t=
o
the air box at any speed. (Well, you know the rest)
ILL SAY IT ONE MORE TIME , THE FAN BLOWS IN FREE AIR 550 CFM, UNDER FULL
LOAD IN A M3 OR 2.5 LITER, IT WILL BLOW AS HARD AS THE ENGINE NEEDS IT TO=
,
( about 250 cfm) and it will produce .25 pressure.)
Now, go plug this information in a formula and tell me what you have
learned. Ive done the tests, and dyned the differrences and timed runs=
till I was blue in the face. =
Ram air is a joke, you only use ram air as a way to get some air into th=
e
engines inherent restrictive inlet tubes. It doest do anything except ge=
t
cooler air in the car as it is still, PULLED it my the engine/ This i=
s
the theory behind the ERAM, and an aero engineer has validated my
findings and even helped me with the tests.
Your waisting my time, go away
