ummm, i'm not proposing censorship, other than "self censorship through
self restraint". i have no desire to be list moderator, due both to lack of
time and due to painful experience from the last time we attempted moderation.

everyone should keep in mind when posting that your post becomes part of
the "history of the digest", and you should think about whether or not your
posting is a positive contribution to the quality-of-life on the digest or
not.

i think that if some persons thought about this before hitting the send
button, the atmosphere of the list might improve a bit.
