M3 versus Hondas & Ferraris

Ooohh, even the pokey $45,000, 240bhp, M3
convertible beat that crappy VTEC? This is getting
ridiculous (sort of like the Ferrari worship
engaged in here by many, myself included).
[Franklin, this is not a personal attack but just
a general statement on the Honda bashing, of which
yours is by far *not* the worst example]. What are
you guys going to boast about next -- beating the
handicapped junior high kids at hoops? IN YOUR
FACE, ONE-LEGGED GIRL!!! You are comparing VTECs
to M3s. Check the list prices on these things
before declaring the Hondas as POS. This is not
even comparing apples & oranges -- it's comparing
apples to filet mignon. And you guys reasoning
that you can get a used M3 for the price of a new
Honda, so therefore only losers would buy Hondas &
modify them. News flash, master logicians: not
every one-car owner can afford a daily driver
which is out-of-warranty, has very expensive
insurance, maintenance & repair costs and which
has probably had the living crap driven out of out
of it for 5+ years (as God intended) & will soon
require thousands of $$$ in new parts and be in
the shop for several weeks a year. A Prelude is an
EXCELLENT choice for the enthusiast on a budget, I
daresay better bang for the buck than
comparably-priced Bimmers. Finally, before you
guys assert Teutonic domination over "crappy"
Japanese Hondas because you outran a couple,
challenge the next 10-year old, $4k Honda 600cc
Interceptor you see & watch it disappear on the
horizon. DOH! Now I'm comparing totally different
types of vehicles.

Subject: Prelude Vtec vs M3

Hi
i raced a modified prelude vtec and he cannot come
close to my e30 M3, let
alone the newer models
in fact, the prelude lost to the M3 conv.
i also beat the prelude in an autocross.
even the newer prelude vtec and the SH cannot
compete against the M cars.
