     My first BMW was a 320i.  fun and sporty, but not too powerful.  I 
     think it's  a good first choice.  If he has a lot of friends to cart 
     around, then maybe an older 7'er might be good.

hello everyone!
     
my youngest brother turned 15 on oct. 5th
and was asking me what BMW would make a good first car.
     
we are looking for something not only cheap but also reliable.
     
i suggested either a 2002 or 318i i'm afraid insurance would be to high 
on any thing else.
     
any suggestions?
