Duane,
I rarely second guess your advice, but...........
I strongly recommend a season on street tires in autox before going to the =
stickies. Car control, pulling out of a slide, etc. really should be =
learned on street tires. When you are pretty good at that, then go to the =
race rubber. Then you can really appreciate the improvement; best (and =
least expensive) 2 seconds you will ever find. (Then, instead of =
gracefully pulling out of a slide, you can quickly spin the car!)
Also, SCCA stock allows replacement of the shocks, so Bilsteins or Konis =
are ok in stock.
Otherwise, your advise is (as usual) very sound).
