You got it!
You are driving a bimmer with a BMW re-badged alpine radio. Any dealer can
give you the unlock code given the radio's serial number. Sometimes they
might ask you for the proof of ownership, other times for some money to
a). pull the radio out and get the serial number; b). spend 30 seconds
looking up the code.
You can mitigate (a) by getting the serial # yourself.
If you encounter (b), try another dealer.
Also, if you had already tried more than 3 times to guess the code, you
need to leave the radio on displaying 'code' for 60+ minutes before it
will process any more tries.
