[bmw] throttle position sensor/switch

Hi all,
I am still battling my sputtering/hesitating 1988 535i. So far I have 
changed all vac lines.rotor and cap,IVC,fuel pressure gauge,plugs and 
removed the TPS and cleaned and checked the ohms/resistance as it rotates. I 
have been trying to find the cal resistances. can anybody shed any light?
How to cal the TPS.
