<E28> Will E34 M30 Head fit on E28 M30 Engine? Advantages? Availability? Cost?

Hi All,

I am wondering about the possibility of picking up another head for my M30
engine in my 85 E28 535i.  Thinking maybe while I have it kicking around I
can do some mods (port/polish, valves, etc) and swap the old one out, and
thought maybe a head out of an E34 model 535i.  might be a better head..

Or are they the same head? (Alloys or compounds, ports, valves etc.)

Are there any advantages to doing this (if so what are they) ?  Is this even
possible?

What should I look for to make sure I have a good example.  Anything to look
for that would point out telltale gremlins?

Does anyone out there have one for sale?
