E36: amp question (aux input?)

I'm thinking of getting either Sirius or XM after-market radio
receiver for my '96 E36.  Does the amplifier in the trunk have an auxiliary 
input?
I'd also be interested in opinions on either digital radio serivce (via 
email as I suppose
it's Off Topic for the list).  I'm leaning toward Sirius since they offer 
BBC and NPR.
