Identifying 1988 528e's in the junkyard...

All E28 (533i/535i/528e) seats (82-88), should fit.  The front seats were
manual thru '84, power after that.  Rear were all the same.

Don't know about cross-application, as the anchor points of the seats vary
by model - take a tape measure to see if E34 (5 series '89>) might fit.  Of
course you'll be dealing with an electrical connector that might not be
compatible.

All E28s were 4-door sedans, and the silver sticker on the driver's door
jamb will tell you date of manufacture.
